IMPORTANT TO NOTE!
1) You must be aware that the RR65, RR30 and RR12 races are very demanding on the cardiovascular system, the respiratory systems and on the articulations.
2) Trail running is not a 'Sunday jog' (Source: ANDIISS website)
“Pushing oneself combined with practicing in a natural setting on rough trails, presents risks. The sports medicine specialist lists common injuries: knee sprains, Achilles tendonitis, bruises from falls, and in cases of very intense practice, problems related to the cardiovascular system or disturbances due to the risk of dehydration and loss of minerals. To limit these risks, it is important to start with a very gradual approach and to adjust your diet according to the expected efforts. And always keep in mind that, trail running is not just a simple Sunday jog, but a discipline in its own right that requires taking the environment into account – the uneven terrain and elevation gain, as well as the weather conditions during the run.”
3) By registering, you guarantee to us (the Organising Committee) that you:
3.1) Will be on the event date, sufficiently fit and healthy to participate in any of the race.
3.2) Will train well in view of your race.
3.3) Do not suffer from any cardiac problems, chronic muscular, joint or spinal problems, or any other medical condition(s) that could put you at risk during the race. If you are in any doubt, we strongly recommend that you seek medical advice before taking part.
4) We remind you that it is mandatory to fill and sign the attached Disclaimer Form. The form must be submitted at the time of your registration so that it (your registration) can be validated.
5) Each participant will have to make provision for his own supply (energy bars and gels, etc.) even if the Organising Committee provides a refreshment station (water, coke, banana, orange) at each checkpoint.
6) Throughout his race, the competitor must permanently have the following mandatory equipment’s:
