Terrain for Interactive Pedagogy through Arts (TIPA) is a Mauritian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children in priority education (ZEP) schools. Since 2007, TIPA has partnered with educators, parents, and artists to deliver creative arts workshops that foster critical thinking, moral values, and social development. Through interactive pedagogy, TIPA nurtures confident, engaged young citizens equipped with essential life skills for the future.

Interactive Arts Pedagogy: Delivers tailored creative workshops (in theatre, circus, story writing, and visual arts) inside ZEP primary schools to foster critical thinking, moral values, and life skills in vulnerable children.
Educational Empowerment: Collaborates with the Ministry of Education, primary school teachers, and NGO educators to implement innovative teaching strategies and build long-term pedagogical capacity.
Family & Community Engagement: Supports parents through dedicated Parents’ Clubs and community initiatives, putting families and local communities at the center of childhood development.
Evidence-Based & Action Research: Continuously measures ground-level impact using Theory of Change framework evaluations to adapt programs to the evolving needs of children.
