I’m taking on a backyard ultra for APEIM because I believe every person deserves dignity, inclusion, and the chance to thrive. This challenge is more than a test of endurance for me — it’s a way to turn every lap, every mile, and every moment of discomfort into meaningful support for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. When the run gets hard, I’ll remember that this is not just about pushing my own limits, but about standing up for a cause that changes lives. By fundraising through this effort, I hope to inspire generosity, raise awareness, and show that with determination and community, we can make a real difference together.
